Children’s Choir
The Children’s Choir provides musical leadership at one weekend Mass every month, as well as at special liturgical celebrations, such as Christmas Eve and Easter Masses. Choristers are introduced to both contemporary and traditional sacred music from the great composers. Special emphasis is placed on improving unison singing and cantoring skills, and beginning singing in parts. Score reading and rhythmic reading are also introduced. The Children’s Choir is open to all youths of the parish in Grades 2 through 8. All members should be able to match pitch and read at a second-grade level, at a minimum.

Steeple People Singers Schedule
The Steeple People Singers lead the congregation in song at a Sunday evening 5:15 PM Mass each month. With its guitars, drums, and other instruments, the Choir plays contemporary, more up-tempo liturgical music. Membership is open to anyone in Grades 9 - 12 who enjoys singing or playing Christ-centered praise and worship music. Special emphasis will be on proper diction, part singing, and cantoring skills. Rehearsals are scheduled on Sundays from 3:30 – 5:00 PM to coincide with Steeple People meetings. For more information, contact music@st-boniface.com.
Handbell Choir
Founded in 2008, the Handbell Choir is comprised of 11 members ringing 3 octaves of English-style handbells. The choir lends its beautiful and unique talent to the weekend liturgies once a month and on feast days, such as Christmas and Easter. Membership is by audition only and limited to ages 10 through adult who will make a commitment to attending all weekly rehearsals and all required Masses at which this Choir is scheduled. Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings from 7:30 – 8:30 PM in the church. Additional rehearsals may be scheduled before a Mass at which the choir plays.
St. Boniface Parish also has a 2-octave beginning handbell choir. Beginning members learn basic music notation and how to ring handbells; the group also shares its talent at a weekend Mass each month. Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings from 6:30 – 7:30 PM in the church. The Handbell Choir performs at one weekend Mass monthly and at special liturgical celebrations, such as Christmas and Easter. All members should be present in order for the music to be properly played. Membership will be limited to youths from Grade 5 through adults who will make a commitment to attending all weekly rehearsals and all required Masses at which this Choir is scheduled.
