St. Boniface Renovation Plans

Pardon our dust - we have been renovating many of our classrooms!  The last 3 years have been a busy time, and the end result is a classroom learning environment that reflects the quality education we have been offering for over a century!

Our new middle school, including grades 5-8, have all been remodeled:
New flooring, new paint, new student and teacher desks, new cabinetry and shelving, removal of the dropped ceiling to reveal the original stained glass windows, and SMART Board technology are just some of the enhancements.

Each classroom has its own color scheme that builds off of the BLUEJAY BLUE.  And our middle school hallway has been redone with new flooring and lockers!

We also completed the Kindergarten room this summer - what a refreshing learning environment!  Many of the older kids commented that they wouldn`t mind starting over the classroom is so cool!  The classroom has all new tables and chairs, cabinetry for the new toys and manipulatives, a reading area, a large group rug area, an audio listening station, and the list goes on!

It has been an incredible volunteer effort - the planning, the demolition, the painting, the ceiling removal, the furniture installation and set up and an endless list of other tasks. While it has been a lot of hard work, it has been a labor of love.  Thanks to everyone who pitched in over the last 3 years through their talents, time, prayers, and treasure - Operation Class Act continues to bring in funds to help pay for the summer`s renovation expenses.

This past summer alone we had well over 100 volunteers assist us with the renovation effort.  Our plans will continue to focus on the classrooms, lobby areas, stairwells, and restrooms.  Once we complete the rooms for Grades 1-4, all homeroom classes will be complete.  If you are interested in learning more or assisting us on our future projects, please call the school at 656-6917.
