(Confirmandi = Students in the 3rd grade through 8th grade who have NOT taken Confirmation and/or 1st Holy Communion ONLY)

Older Children will be grouped with Students of their same age group

  2. All Confirmandi Mandatory Participation in Living Saint Museum Date:  Wednesday, March 25, 2026
  3. Confirmation Date:  Saturday, March 7, 2026 & Saturday, April 18, 2026
    (We are limited to 55 children per date. Once date chosen you cannot change.)
    You will be notified on November 12    th when the online registration will begin for one date only.

Parents are expected to actively participate in the PSR instruction by asking their child(ren) about their classes each week and expanding on the lessons in their home throughout the week via the Word of Life online materials.

Classes:

  • Wednesday evenings @ 6:30pm – 7:45pm at the St. Boniface Catholic elementary school.
  • Children are permitted to enter under the Clock Tower no earlier than 6:15pm.
  • Children gather in Legacy Hall and will follow their Catechist to their classroom at 6:30pm.
  • Each child will be given a Name Badge – they are to wear their name badge into & during class each week.
  • Parents are not permitted into the school.
  • Doors are locked at 6:50pm and no one is allowed to enter after their time.
  • Children will be instructed on Reconciliation this year.

 Dismissal:

  • Kindergarten – 2nd Grades dismiss at 7:35pm
    • Leaving out the Kindergarten door opposite the clock tower.
  • 3rd – 5th Grades dismiss at 7:45pm
    • Leaving out the Kindergarten door opposite the clock tower.
    • If an older sibling is to accompany a younger sibling parents must inform Catechists .

Cancellations:

  • Notification of PSR cancellation due to inclement weather will be via:
    • Flocknote: Parent’s email address – ensure the Coordinator has current email (if you are not currently on flocknotes enroll at registration at www.flocknote.com.
    • If District 7 and/or St. Boniface is closed during the day; PSR will not be in session in the evening.

Attendance:

  • It is expected that a child will miss ONLY for a most serious reason.
  • The Diocese requires the parent to notify the PSR Coordinator concerning each absence.
  • Parents are expected to teach the student the lesson that is missed via Word of Life online book/materials.
  • Students missing 10 or more classes will be detained in the same grade the following year and will take their sacraments the later year.
  • Parents DO NOT send a child to class with a fever and/or feeling sick.
    • Child complaining of illness will be removed from the classroom immediately.
    • Parents will be called to take their child home.
